Having its origins in Spain’s Castile region (Castilla), Spanish is also known as “castellano” and is the official language of Spain and most Latin American countries and common in the USA.

Our translations from English to Spanish are available for all regions where the language is spoken and we are sure to have Spanish to English translators for documents to be translated into English.

The founder and Managing Director of our company has spoken Spanish as a second language for over 20 years and has considerable expertise in both the European and Latin American variants. Although both are structurally and grammatically the same, as with many languages, various dialects and expressions have developed. This is why it is important to use experienced and qualified Spanish to English translators who can distinguish between regional expressions when converting your Spanish text into English and the reverse is equally applicable i.e. the English must be correctly understood and appropriately conveyed into Spanish.

The most obvious difference between the two variants lies in their pronunciation of the letters “c” and “z”. In Spain these are pronounced as a soft English “th” whereas in the Canaries, Latin America and parts of Southern Spain they are pronounced as a soft “ss”.

Sworn or certified translations can be provided for translations into Spanish or English as our team members are accredited by the Spanish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, ATIEC, ATA, CIOL and the ITI.
